Top 5 star foreign players in PBA

Our basketball league sets high standards for foreign players: to succeed in the Philippine league, you need to be more than an athlete; you need to be a leader ready to give it your all on the court for all 40 minutes. 1xBet Philippines shares the stories of the most standout foreign players in the PBA who have become fan favorites.

De’Vondre Perry (Macau Giant Pandas)

The American is the star player on the Macau team. Perry’s performances last season gave fans exactly what you’d expect from a foreign player: explosive energy and an attacking mindset on every possession. His 33.3 points-per-game average is a standout stat. At 201 cm, Perry fits perfectly within the height limit and can play multiple positions, from shooting guard to power forward.

Devondre can punish opponents from mid-range and beyond the arc, but his biggest weapons are explosive drives through contact and aggressive work on the offensive glass. He isn’t afraid to battle bigger players in the paint, bringing defensive toughness and helping the team transition quickly from defense to offense.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (TNT Tropang Giga)

The former NBA player has brought elite-level skill and championship-caliber discipline to the Philippine courts. RHJ is a versatile forward who can play any position. It’s no surprise that he’s already been named the best foreign player in national tournaments three times, winning just as many titles as part of his teams.

He excels both on offense, where − even during his NBA days − he was compared to Kobe Bryant himself for his agility, and on defense, where Rondae gives it his all. As part of the TNT roster, Hollis-Jefferson became the missing piece, turning the squad into a defensive machine capable of neutralizing any big opponent.

Aaron Fuller (Rain or Shine Elasto Painters)

An experienced forward who knows the ins and outs of Philippine basketball, Aaron first played in the PBA for TNT during the 2021/22 season. With the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, Fuller does a tremendous amount of the dirty work that has earned him the admiration of coaches and fans alike.

Fuller is a classic double-double machine who fits the demands of the Governors’ Cup while bringing impressive physicality to the court. Aaron regularly muscles opponents out of the way in the paint and pulls down crucial offensive rebounds. He also sets an example for his teammates through his character and determination.

George King (San Miguel Beermen)

George King’s arrival in San Miguel has taken the team’s offensive potential to a whole new level. With experience playing for the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks, he instantly adapted to our league’s physical, fast-paced style. King is one of those players who can string together 3-4 possessions in a row, after which the team pulls away on the scoreboard. His importance on the court is just as obvious as the fact that 1xBet legit.

George tears apart opposing defenses with his versatility. He can knock down a string of three-pointers from well beyond the arc, but if defenders pressure him on the perimeter, he doesn’t hesitate to drive to the basket. Alongside the legendary June Mar Fajardo, King has formed a duo that poses a tough challenge for any opponent.

Kentrell Barkley (Blackwater Bossing)

A player capable of rewriting a game’s script single-handedly and carrying his team on his shoulders. With Blackwater, Kentrell has become the squad’s driving force and a catalyst for its offense. Putting up stat lines of 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists is nothing out of the ordinary for him.

Barkley’s explosive athleticism may remind you of his legendary namesake, Charles Barkley. He knows how to play with physicality, and when he gets rolling, he becomes one of those players who make the PBA one of Asia’s most vivid and electrifying leagues.
