Laro Hub: Best Esports Team in the Philippines 2026

Who really is the laro hub best esports team in the philippines 2026 right now? Based on the latest available results, Team Liquid PH is leading MPL Philippines Season 18 as of September 23, 2026 with an 8-win, 2-loss record, while Boom Esports is surging ahead in the Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall 2026. In this article, we’ll discuss who these teams are, why they’re leading, and how the word “best” should be understood in the context of Philippine esports in 2026.

What Does “Best Esports Team” Mean in the Philippines This 2026

There is no single official metric that determines who is truly the “best” esports team in the entire country, because each league, game, and tournament format differs. The most reasonable way to answer the laro hub best esports team in the philippines 2026 question is to look at the current standings of the primary league for each title, such as MPL Philippines for MLBB and PKL for Pokémon Unite. As of now, Team Liquid PH is the most solid evidence-based candidate for MLBB, while Boom Esports is leading in PKL.

It’s important to note that standings are dynamic, meaning they change week to week depending on the matches. So being the “best” as of this date is not as simple as looking at a single result, but rather requires looking at a team’s performance across the entire season.

A Brief History of Philippine Esports Before the 2026 Season

MPL Philippines is one of the longest-running and most popular MLBB leagues in the country, and it has served as a training ground for many teams before they reached international competitions such as the Esports World Cup. In previous seasons, leadership has changed hands among various teams such as AP Bren and ONIC PH, showing just how competitive the league was even before Season 18. This 2026, Team Liquid PH’s roster from the previous season became the foundation of their strong start this Season 18.

MPL Philippines Season 18 Standings: Who’s Leading as of September 2026

According to the latest available standings snapshot from September 23, 2026, Team Liquid PH is in first place with an 8-2 win-loss record. Team Falcons follows in second place with a 7-1 record, and ONIC PH is in third place with a 6-2 record. This order shows the intense competition at the top of the table.

The complete standings of the eight teams in MPL Philippines Season 18, based on the latest snapshot from September 23, 2026, can be seen below:

Notably, AP Bren, once the dominant team in MPL PH, currently sits in only seventh place. If you’re interested in the details of their roster, you can read about it in our article on AP Bren’s roster changes this 2026.

Why Team Liquid PH Is Leading MPL PH Season 18

Team Liquid PH’s leadership didn’t happen overnight. As of September 18, 2026, they were already in first place with a 7-1 record, a +12 game differential, and a 15-3 game record. Before that, according to a Philstar report from September 15, 2026, Team Liquid PH reclaimed first place after a flawless Week 3 campaign. This shows that they didn’t just win a lot of matches — they were also dominant within each game, based on their game differential.

Team Falcons follows closely behind, sitting at a 6-1 record with a +8 game differential and a 13-5 game record as of September 18. ONIC PH, a team well known from previous seasons, was in third place with a 5-2 record and a +5 game differential in the same snapshot.

Team Liquid PH’s large game differential, not just their win count, proves that they are the most dominant team in MPL PH Season 18 right now.

The Situation at the Bottom of the Table: The Hive and Twisted Minds PH

On the other hand, not every team got off to a good start this season. According to Philstar on September 15, 2026, The Hive fell to a 1-6 record and remained in seventh place at that time. Meanwhile, Twisted Minds PH remained winless through seven matches, at the very bottom of the standings. In the latest snapshot from September 23, Twisted Minds PH is at 0-7, while AP Bren has recovered slightly to 1-6.

These downward trends show just how difficult it is to maintain a top position in the MPL PH standings. If you want to know how to build a strong roster, you’ll notice this in our article on MPL PH Season 17, which describes the changes from the previous season.

Boom Esports and PKL Fall 2026: Best in Pokémon Unite

Outside of MLBB, there’s another important league worth noting when discussing the laro hub best esports team in the philippines 2026: the Philippines Kings League (PKL) for Pokémon Unite. According to a report from September 15, 2026, Boom Esports remained unbeaten through the first three weeks of PKL Fall 2026 and holds first place. Before that, Titan Esports Club (TEC) was the initial leader after Week 2, but was overtaken by Boom Esports heading into Week 3.

The table above shows why it’s inaccurate to say there is a single “best” team across the entire Philippine esports scene. Each game title has its own league, format, and level of competition, so it makes more sense to identify the best team based on the specific game.
